Chopper Twirls Wildly into Palm Trees at Well-Known California Coast
A chopper hovering near a crowded California shoreline unexpectedly commenced twirling wildly, ultimately descending rapidly and crashing into a row of palm groves as onlookers observed.
Footage posted on social media capture the chopper starting to spin near Huntington Beach then descending near the edge of the shore, where it becomes wedged between palms and a set of stairs close to the coastal road.
Rescue Operation Update
Emergency responders stated five persons were transported to a medical facility including two individuals who were in the aircraft and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” subsequent to the incident on Saturday.
Three people on the street were hurt. Details on their injuries were still under review.
The reason for the accident was still under investigation.
